Jean-Pierre Chakar is the Founder and a Principal at Chakar Consulting Inc.
A licensed professional with over 20 years of Projects & Experiences in structural analysis, structural design, project management and project delivery, Jean-Pierre specializes in high rise buildings, bridge design, earthquake analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Jean-Pierre is particularly focused on computational methods and techniques that result in optimized solution, fast-track and on budget projects. His project teams are particularly noteworthy in the use of a fully integrated BIM approach that incorporates engineering analysis, allowing for rapid prototyping of solutions and the fast visualization of engineering design results.
In addition to his professional work, Jean-Pierre lectured at various academic institutions such as MIT, UCLA, USC and SCI-Arc.
